Job summary

The Florida Department of Transportation's Survey and Mapping Office seeks a Survey Supervisor to lead staff, manage geospatial CADD applications, and oversee production quality. You will guide training, coordinate with district teams, and support contract negotiations and project scheduling.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Surveying and Mapping terminology, principles, and applications.
Skilled in personal computer operations and CADD workstations; proficient in mapping and geospatial analysis.

Responsibilities

Supervise employees by communicating, motivating, training, and evaluating performance.
Develop, maintain, and support Survey processing, CADD, and Right of Way mapping applications.
Coordinate with district teams and Production Support; assist hardware/software testing and evaluation.
Assist in QA reviews of surveying and mapping projects and provide training.
