Pape-Dawson Engineers in Fort Worth seeks a Survey Field Technician to operate survey instruments and support the Party Chief on advanced surveying tasks. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in land surveying or related role.
• Proficient in operating and obtaining land survey data using advanced surveying instruments.
• Ability to perform and analyze technical calculations independently.
• Working knowledge of land surveying procedures and equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and working in varied terrains.
• Dependable, team-oriented with potential leadership responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Load, unload, inspect, and maintain survey equipment.
• Operate data collectors, Total Stations, Robotic Total Stations, levels, and GPS-RTK Receivers.
• Perform field work to ascertain precise measurements and locations of features.
• Conduct construction staking for streets, utilities, drains, and lot layouts.
• Compile notes, sketches, and records of survey data with accuracy.
• Provide guidance to Rodmen and less experienced crew members.
• Perform minor field calculations and spatial data analysis.
• Assist Party Chief in addressing issues and leading the crew in their absence.
• Adhere to safety protocols and project requirements.
