MORRIS & RITCHIE ASSOCIATES, INC. (MRA) in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Survey Field Technician / Helper to assist the Survey Crew Chief with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.

The role requires the ability to carry up to 50 pounds and enjoy outdoor work; familiarity with construction plans is helpful but not required. You will draft survey maps, as-built drawings, surface models, and lot grading plans, field data, and exhibits; coordinate with field crews and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• HS Diploma/GED
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
• Basic mathematical abilities
• Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide survey efforts, providing solutions for complex tasks and supporting less experienced staff.
• Draft and prepare survey maps, as-built drawings, surface models, and lot grading plans.
• Research independently and ensure compliance with company CADD standard
• Prepare boundary, subdivision, and easement plats.
• Process topographic and location surveys.
• Assist with cut sheets, grade sheets, and surface models.
• Organize and create survey exhibits.
• Prepare and deliver survey data for field crews.
