Job summary

McKim & Creed is hiring a Survey Field Technician II (Instrument Person) to support field crews across Wisconsin and beyond. You will assist the Crew Chief, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate data collection while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

As part of an employee-owned firm with ESOP benefits, you will join a team in a growth-oriented environment with opportunities to travel and develop survey skills using total stations and GPS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good technical skills.
• Process-oriented traits: steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, able to work alone, methodical, consistent, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew.
• Prioritize quality, safety, and maintenance of equipment.
• Operate equipment and collect field data while locating features.
• Walk extensively outdoors year-round through various terrains and weather.
