Responsibilities include operating survey equipment, preparing field notes, interpreting plans, and performing calculations. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license required.
• Operate and train others in survey equipment (hardware and software).
• Computer experience is desired.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations, GNSS receivers, levels, and data collectors.
• Prepare detailed field notes and sketches to document survey activities.
• Understand survey principles, methods, and practices.
• Interpret and analyze survey data, maps, and construction plans.
• Perform mathematical calculations.
• Know basic sources of measurement errors.
• Know principles of staking and marking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
