Job summary

Team Fishel in Columbus, OH is seeking Survey Instrument Operators to support the Surveying & Engineering division. You will assist the Crew Leader on field surveys, operate related equipment, and contribute to accurate field data collection.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean background check and drug screening.
• Able to read maps and navigate using electronic mapping devices.
• Telecom construction and gas pipeline experience, especially with OQ tasks like line/utility locating.

Responsibilities

• Assist Survey Crew Leader on projects and follow task orders.
• Maintain vehicle and field equipment.
• Adhere to safety requirements and professional conduct on all projects.
• Prepare daily reports and required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Plan and optimize use of field equipment and personnel daily.
• Understand staking principles and potential measurement errors.
