Duties and Responsibilities

1. Utilize data collectors, robotic total stations, and GPS equipment.
2. Perform remote file transfers daily.
3. Lead crews in daily operations.
4. Manage and coordinate surveying projects.
5. Ensure crew is equipped with personal protective equipment and follows safety procedures.
6. Coordinate with office staff and clients as needed.
7. Apply knowledge of survey engineering methods and techniques.
8. Follow local, state, and federal survey regulations and company procedures.
9. Monitor completion of timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of survey experience
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Tennessee (other state licenses desirable)
• Knowledge of relevant software programs
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys (desirable)
• Valid driver’s license and insurability

Physical Requirements

• Mobility in construction sites and field assignments
• Ability to carry instruments and equipment
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Perform essential job functions safely, meeting all standards
• Work in variable climate conditions
