Kuhn & Gustafson Land Surveying is a family-owned company with 40 years of combined experience in the land surveying industry. We’re looking to add key individuals to help us build the premiere land surveying firm in central Indiana.

We are seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our fast-growing team who is knowledgeable with robotic total stations and GPS. Must be able to perform field surveys on a one or two-person survey crew and communicate clearly with clients and co-workers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Proficiency with GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors.
• Ability to organize field notes.
• Ability to read Construction Plans.
• Ability to execute field staking.
• Strong math skills.
• Valid drivers license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys on a one- or two-person crew.
• Conduct construction staking, topographic and boundary surveys.
• Communicate clearly with clients, co-workers, peers and the public.
