Qualifications

• 8+ years of survey crew chief experience.
• Demonstrated experience with GPS devices and Total Station.
• Independent judgment and initiative in field settings.
• Knowledge of land surveying principles and CAD tools.
• Experience with civil engineering principles and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field crew on topographic, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Operate and troubleshoot Trimble surveying equipment; ensure data quality.
• Maintain detailed field notes and perform on-site QA/QC.
• Manage project schedules, coordinate with managers/clients, mentor junior crew.
• Apply experience to solve field challenges and adapt to conditions.
