Job summary

Kuhn & Gustafson Land Surveying is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to join our fast-growing team in central Indiana. The role involves conducting field surveys with one- or two-person crews, including boundary, topographic, and construction staking projects.

You will operate robotic total stations and GPS, read construction plans, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Proficiency with GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors.
• Ability to organize field notes.
• Ability to read Construction Plans.
• Ability to execute field staking.
• Strong math skills.
• Valid drivers license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Some travel required, varies.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys on a one- or two-person crew.
