Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead daily field survey operations on construction and civil projects. You will handle layout, data collection, and ensure accuracy of field measurements. This hands-on role is outdoors and requires taking ownership of field work and supporting fast-moving projects.

Projects are short and schedule-driven, demanding efficiency, accuracy, and strong field judgment. Proficiency with GPS and total stations is preferred; training is available.

Qualifications

• Prior field surveying experience preferred.
• Exposure to construction layout and/or topographic surveying.
• Experience with GPS and total station equipment is a plus (training available).
• Ability to work extended hours and overtime.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily field tasks.

Responsibilities

The Survey Crew Chief leads daily field survey operations on active construction and civil projects. This position is responsible for layout, data collection, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of field measurements. The role is hands-on and best suited for someone who prefers working outdoors, taking ownership of field work, and supporting fast-moving projects.
