Job summary

gpac partnered Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in Kalamazoo, MI with minimal local travel. You will perform field and office work on construction staking, ALTA and boundary surveys and lead a crew as needed.

You will monitor projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients and the team to ensure accuracy and timelines. A strong understanding of surveying processes is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys and construction staking.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Experience using Total Station and GPS.
• Ability to work independently or lead a crew.
• Well-developed understanding of surveying from start to finish.

I am partnered with a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm and they are looking to add a Survey Crew Chief to their growing team! Minimal local travel.

What You Will Be Doing

• Field and office work for construction staking, topographic, ALTA, boundary and plat/site condominiums
• Monitoring projects from start to finish, interacting with clients

What You Will Need

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying
• Experience with boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys as well as construction staking
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D
• Experience using Total Station and GPS
• Ability to work independently or as part of a 2-person crew
• Ability to lead a crew
• Well-developed understanding of surveying process, start to finish
