Survey Crew Chief

Responsibilities

• Travel to various jobsites to obtain necessary survey data and jobsite information.
• Gather field survey data to determine precise location & measurements of points, elevations, and contours, etc.
• Process survey data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Perform simple surveying calculations, deed research, deed plotting, and map checks.
• Perform quality control checks of plats and drawings prepared by other technicians.
• Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive field and office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, DTM projects, and construction surveys using GPS survey techniques.
• Excellent computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
• Experience with Trimble survey equipment.
• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
