Job Description

ESP is currently recruiting for a Survey Crew Chief in Bradenton, FL. This is an opportunity for an experienced survey professional to continue to develop your career with a well-established, dynamic, and growing Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm.

Responsibilities:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to supervise field crews during various conventional, robotic, and GPS land surveying projects
• Willingness to travel out of town on assignments as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying, preferably in a construction staking environment
• Associate’s degree in surveying/geomatics, civil engineering, or related field
• SIT or PLS certification is a plus but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, navigational programs, CADD programs, and Trimble Business Center
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations is advantageous
• DOT and route survey experience is a plus
• Must be able to travel as needed
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy
