Job summary

Cardinal Civil Resources is seeking a qualified CADD Technician to support survey projects with meticulous data reduction, field note handling, and precise calculations using IntelliCAD and Carlson Civil Suites.

Responsibilities include daily CADD production for Boundary, Topographic, and House Location surveys, plus drafting of grading plans, easements, and ALTA/NSPS surveys; GIS work is secondary. A high school diploma and 5+ years in Civil Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• High school education with math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Minimum 5 years of survey/CADD experience.
• Experience in a Civil Engineering environment.
• Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with insurable record.
• Background Check and Drug Testing Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform data reduction and field note reduction using survey software and IntelliCAD.
• Daily CADD production for Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys; drafting of grading plans, easement plats, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (Primary).
• GIS (Secondary).
• Attention to detail and self-motivation with critical thinking.
• Performs mathematical calculations and checks field data.
• Reads and understands plans and specifications.
• Know basic sources of measurement errors.
• Basic understanding of geometry and grading.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
