Job summary

Cardinal Civil Resources is seeking a meticulous CADD Tech to support boundary, topographic and house location surveys. You will perform data reduction, field note processing and staking computations using survey software and IntelliCAD, delivering accurate daily CADD output.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in a Civil Engineering setting, strong math/geometry knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong math, geometry and trigonometry knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years of survey/Civil Engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required.
• Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with insurable record.
• Background Check and Drug Testing Required.

Responsibilities

• Daily CADD production for Boundary, Topographic and House Location Surveys.
• Drafting of Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Primary use of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD; GIS as secondary tool.
• Read plans and specifications and check data for accuracy.
• Perform geometry and grading-related computations and verify measurement sources.
• Maintain attention to detail and reliability; perform other duties as assigned.

CADD Tech

Cardinal Civil Resources is currently looking for an employee with high integrity and an excellent attention to detail in order to fill a position as a CADD Tech.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Ideal candidate would serve as a Survey CADD Operator & possess a superior skill set that includes:

• Perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCAD
• Daily CADD production to complete Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys. In addition, drafting of Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys etc.
• Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (Primary)
• GIS (Secondary)
• Attention to detail and self-motivated with the ability to think critically
• Performs mathematical calculations and checking of field data
• Reads and understands plans and specifications
• Know basic sources of measurement errors
• Basic understanding of geometry and grading
• Performs other duties as assigned
