Join T2 Utility Engineers in our North Business Unit as a Survey Technician, responsible for preparing computer-generated survey drawings from field data using CAD software, following established standards and procedures.

T2 Utility Engineers specializes in providing reliable utility information to reduce risks for infrastructure projects. We offer services in Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utility Coordination, and Surveying to help clients manage utility complexities.

Our mission is to deliver quality utility information and professional insights that streamline construction, improve safety, and set industry standards. Since 1993, we have built a reputation for high standards of technical ability and project understanding.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing survey drawings from field data using CAD software
• Performing survey calculations
• Processing and checking field information and utility surveys
• Revising survey drawings and completing simple calculations
• Operating field survey equipment as needed
• Following CAD and drawing standards for sheet layout
• Maintaining organization and work schedules

Qualifications:

• High school or technical training in CAD or equivalent experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation, and other survey software is preferred but not required
• 3-5 years’ experience is ideal, but candidates eager to learn are encouraged to apply
