Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory-based experimental work with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot unexpected or erroneous results
• Suggest improvements in methods and workflows
• Plan and execute short-term projects
• Produce experimental results or data management outcomes
• Coach and support less experienced lab technicians and assistants

Candidate Requirements

• Education:
  • BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field with at least 5 years of experience
  • OR MS with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience:
  • 3–5+ years of laboratory experience in research, manufacturing, or engineering environments
  • Strong biochemistry background preferred
  • Familiarity with a wide range of lab equipment, analytical techniques, and chemical handling

Technical Skills

• Proficient in lab equipment setup and analytical instrumentation
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and data interpretation
• Ability to independently perform and document laboratory work

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) protocols
• Use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and documentation standards

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
