Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is a nationwide leader in geospatial and construction‑phase solutions, delivering land surveying, aerial mapping, SUE, UC, GIS, BIM, and CEI services with 50+ offices and 1,600 professionals.

As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing information and producing final deliverables, reporting to the Project Manager and using the latest technology to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Strong desire to learn; little to no experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus.
Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus.

Responsibilities

Process data utilizing SAM standards, evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, ensuring compliance with land survey principles under supervision.
Monitor field crew’s production and quality assurance.
Carry out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices.
Coordinate with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are met.
