Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in survey drafting or CAD operation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software.
• Understanding of survey principles, coordinate systems, and field-to-finish processes.

Responsibilities

• Import, process, and manage survey field data.
• Create detailed drawings, plats, topographic maps, and construction layouts.
• Prepare plan and profile sheets, cross-sections, and as-built drawings.
• Review and verify accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
• Apply appropriate line work, symbols, layers, and annotation per standards.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to clarify project requirements.
• Maintain organized records of survey data and CAD files.
• Update existing drawings and files to reflect project revisions or field changes.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Assist with quality control by reviewing drawings for accuracy and completeness.
