Baird, Hampton & Brown in Round Rock, TX is seeking a full-time Survey CAD Technician to assist the RPLS and draft boundary, ALTA/NSPS, easement and topographic drawings using Civil 3D. This role supports civil engineering projects from planning through design and may include field survey work.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, familiarity with Trimble total stations and GPS, and the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as survey technician with AutoCAD Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boundary and topographic survey drawings using Civil 3D.
• Draft subdivision plats, easement exhibits, and other survey deliverables.
• Process field data collected with total stations, GNSS, and digital levels.
• Review field data for accuracy and discrepancies before drafting.
• Coordinate with project managers and field crews to resolve questions.
