Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The candidate will process field data, create CAD drawings, and develop 3D models for design projects.

The role requires strong CAD and surveying experience, familiarity with GDOT standards, and ability to work with a team across field and office environments. A valid driver’s license and software proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• 1 year of field and office surveying experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data using MicroStation and AutoCAD to create survey drawings.
• Develop 3D terrain models from field data for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads.
• Draft and design for various surveying projects adhering to CAD standards and GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Assist field crews by ensuring data collection and coordination.
