Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and CAD design, along with proficiency in survey software and tools.

This position involves processing field data, creating 3D terrain models, drafting for various land surveying projects, and ensuring CAD standards including GDOT compliance. Collaboration across teams and potential certification milestones are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• 1 year field and office surveying experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.
• Experience with survey software and equipment is essential.
• At least 1 year of MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create survey drawings.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads or similar software.
• Draft and design for land surveying projects adhering to CAD standards and GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Ensure field crews collect necessary data through strong communication and coordination.
• Prepare plans, as-builts, and final plats with detailed information.
