Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to work on diverse projects with a flexible culture and strong national presence. You will produce drawings, analyze survey data, and support design staff while adhering to Atwell's standards.

The role emphasizes CAD proficiency, plan modification, and coordination with managers to ensure timely workflow and quality outcomes across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Atlas, Topos, Boundaries, and Construction Staking.

Responsibilities

• Resourceful support for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• CAD proficiency: generate ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts and staking.
• Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and relevant documents.
• Edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet workflow and chargeability goals.

As a Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

• Resourceful Support: Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• CAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.
• Drawing Production: Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.
• Survey Data Analysis: Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Plan Modification: Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.
• Workflow Coordination: Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.
