Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our team and work on diverse projects nationwide. You will leverage AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce varied drawings, review survey data for site conditions, and implement plan modifications driven by agency and client updates.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related drafting tools
• Familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC) and field-to-finish workflows
• Understanding of Atlas/Topos/Boundaries and construction staking processes

Responsibilities

• Resourceful support for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures
• CAD proficiency using AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce project drawings
• Generate drawings such as ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, layouts and staking
• Review survey data to analyze site conditions, including ALTA surveys and easements
• Edit and modify plans in response to agency, municipal, and client revisions
• Coordinate workflow with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet chargeability goals

As a Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

Resourceful Support:Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.

CAD Proficiency:Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.

Drawing Production:Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.

Survey Data Analysis:Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.

Plan Modification:Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.

Workflow Coordination:Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
• High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree Preferred
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
