Job summary

ESP Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join the Survey Department in Midland or Houston, TX. This full-time role requires 3+ years of experience and strong drafting skills to convert field data into precise survey drawings.

You will collaborate with RPLS, field crews, engineers, and project managers on land development, municipal, commercial, industrial, residential, and oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional survey CAD drafting experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of land surveying terminology and deliverables.
• Ability to interpret deeds, plats, easements, and rights-of-way.
• Experience preparing survey plats and exhibits from field data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and plats.
• Process and organize field survey data.
• Prepare accurate exhibits, sketches, and survey documents.
• Read legal descriptions, deeds, plats, and easements.
• Assist surveyors with boundary research and drawings.
• Coordinate survey information with civil plans.
• Maintain CAD files and drafting standards.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
