Job summary

Bally's in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a surveillance associate to build guest relations and monitor all camera-covered areas across shifts. You will ensure asset protection, comply with gaming regulations, and maintain CCTV equipment.

Preferred candidates have an IT-related degree, two years of surveillance experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. High school diploma or GED is required. Gaming industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Ensure protection of company assets, team members, and guests and compliance with Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission regulations through effective installation, movement, and placement of surveillance equipment.
• Repair and maintain all surveillance department CCTV equipment.
• Work with outside vendors as necessary to oversee on-site work.
• Monitor casino games, bank, cage, slots, count room, and all areas of property under camera coverage.
• Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and guest information.
• Track and complete all government reporting.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

  Target Compensation Range:

  • $24 per hour

An Associate’s degree in information technology or similar field, two years of surveillance experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
