Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is seeking a Surveillance Supervisor to oversee team members and protect casino assets through CCTV monitoring. Responsibilities include observing activities, ensuring safety, reporting incidents, and coordinating with management.

Applicant must have extensive casino surveillance experience, be 21+, and able to obtain state licensure as required. The role requires collaboration across departments and staff training responsibilities within a live casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum of four (4) years casino surveillance experience with at least two (2) years in a Supervisory role.
• Exposure to alcohol and smoking environments.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or applicable entity.

Responsibilities

• Observe guest and team activity on casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via CCTV for violations and policy breaches.
• Monitor casino areas for safety hazards to protect guests and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Prepare and file required reports and documentation.
• Supervise surveillance team procedures to protect assets and internal controls.
• Assist in scheduling and training of staff.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all table games and departmental activities.
• Report violations and suspicious activity to management.
• Review actions and processes with Surveillance Management.
• Meet with departmental leadership as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervise Surveillance Team Members as well as observing and protecting casino assets via CCTV.

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Observe all activities of guest and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed circuit television system for criminal activities and/or violation of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Observe areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guest and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
• Supervises department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and guests.
• Assist in scheduling and training of staff.
• Thorough working knowledge of all Table Games.
• Thorough working knowledge of all gaming and non-gaming departments.
• Report all violations and suspicious activity to management.
• Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with Surveillance Management.
• Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must-Haves

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older
• Minimum of four (4) year’s work experience in casino surveillance with at least two (2) years as a Supervisor or above.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
• Must have excellent vision and hearing.
• Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
