Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Surveillance Supervisor to lead a team, monitor casino assets via CCTV, and enforce security protocols in line with state gaming regulations and company policies.

You will oversee incident reporting, staff training, and cross-department coordination across table games and non-gaming areas, ensuring safety, asset protection, and reliable operations around the clock.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 4+ years casino surveillance experience with at least 2 years as a Supervisor or higher.
• Must comply with state gaming regulations, including license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Observe guest and team activities via CCTV to detect criminal activity and policy violations.
• Monitor casino areas for safety hazards and report incidents as needed.
• Operate monitor room equipment and maintain thorough reports.
• Supervise staff on asset protection procedures and internal controls.
• Assist in scheduling and staff training.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Table Games and other departments.
• Escalate violations to management and review department actions with Surveillance Management.
• Meet with department leaders as required.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Observe all activities of guest and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed circuit television system for criminal activities and/or violation of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Observe areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guest and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
• Supervises department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and guests.
• Assist in scheduling and training of staff.
• Thorough working knowledge of all Table Games.
• Thorough working knowledge of all gaming and non-gaming departments.
• Report all violations and suspicious activity to management.
• Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with Surveillance Management.
• Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need to Succeed

• Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
• Must be able to read/write in the English language.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Great to Haves

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) year’s work experience in casino surveillance with at least two (2) years as a Supervisor or above.
• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
