Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Louisiana is seeking a vigilant Security Surveillance Officer to monitor activities across gaming and money-handling areas. You will observe for violations, report suspicious behavior, and help protect assets and guests in a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities include operating monitor room equipment, learning games and procedures, and maintaining video surveillance across the Gaming Floor, Race/Sports Book, outlets, and parking areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous surveillance, security, law enforcement, and/or corrections experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to obtain LA gaming license.
• Must be able to learn, comprehend, and maintain fundamental knowledge of the surveillance department.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the physical and video surveillance of customers and employees in all gaming and money handling areas.
• Operate monitor room equipment and SiS System to provide security for assets and funds; record irregular activity.
• Learn all games in use at the property and the related procedures and indicators of cheating.
• Maintain comprehensive video surveillance of the casino including Gaming Floor, Race/Sports Book, outlets, cameras, count rooms, and parking areas.
