Maverick Gaming is seeking a Surveillance Observer to monitor surveillance across Wendover Nugget, Red Garter, Maverick Elko, and Gold Country properties in Nevada. The role emphasizes compliance with Nevada gaming laws, reporting irregularities, and operating PTZ cameras for Code 1/3 incidents.

The position requires candidates to be 21+, able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Card, and to complete Title 31 training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Background in video or electronics desirable.
• Title 31 training, re-training, and compliance requirement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance across Wendover Nugget, Red Garter, Maverick Elko, and Gold Country properties.
• Operate PTZ cameras for Code 1 and Code 3 incidents.
• Review DVRs and investigate potential violations.
• Maintain camera equipment and ensure proper operation at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow department policies.

Description

Surveillance Observer operates Wendover Nugget , Red Garter, Maverick Elko, and Gold Country surveillance equipment. Observing all departments where there is video and audio coverage. Ensure compliance with Nevada Gaming Laws, regulations and internal controls in all areas of casino operations and support services. Observe, locate, and film all irregularities which would jeopardize the assets of all properties. Monitor exit doors that have electronic arming devices.

• Observe all activities at the Wendover Nugget , Red Garter, Maverick Elko, and Gold Country.
• Cover all Code 1 and Code 3’s with the PTZ Cameras.
• Review DVR’s when requested or violations are believed to have occurred.
• PTZ camera’s on all bill validations in tray. (security calls)
• Keep daily log..
• Communicate with Department Heads on Hotel Operations.
• Insure that all equipment is in proper working order at all times.
• Maintains confidentiality of observation department business.
• Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidence regarding company matters.
• Work on special projects as assigned by department manager.
• Maintain customer and business confidentiality.
• Title 31 training, re-training, and compliance.
• Safety Awareness, constant training, & compliance.
• Performs related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card.
• Ability to learn 21, craps, and slots.
• Ability to learn all State Gaming rules and regulations.
• Background in video or electronics desirable.

This position works varied shifts, including weekend and holidays.
