Rivers Casino is seeking a vigilant Surveillance Associate to monitor all gaming areas and the entire property, ensuring safety and protecting assets. You will report risks, document activities, and support investigations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires passing tests for table games and surveillance systems and adherence to NYS Gaming Commission rules. Qualifications include a HS diploma/GED (some college preferred), 21+ years old, English communication skills, and color

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Gaming industry experience preferred.
• Ability to identify color (casino tokens are color coded).
• Basic math skills – pre-employment assessment required (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), some college preferred.
• Ability to analyze documents and reports.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Responsabilités

• Monitor all areas of the property always, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution.
• Utilizes necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the New York State Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence.
• Must be able to pass various tests to include but not limited to all table games and Surveillance system.
• Protects casino assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor.
• Participate in confidential internal and external investigations.
• Conducts research on subpoena requests from state and federal authority.
• Completes daily reports and incident reports to document your activity.
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Supports other employees, supervisors, and management, regarding protection of assets in their respective departments.
• Coordinates, with the Security Department, when Surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention.
• All other duties as assigned

Target Pay: Start - $26.64 One Year - $29.60

Working Conditions:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to control surveillance tools
• Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds

• Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
• Exposure to climate environments
