About the Role:

You’ll lead the charge in navigating non-admitted markets, working with fronting carriers, MGAs, and university stakeholders to build, file, and scale term-life programs across the country. This is a strategic, early-stage role with room to grow into an executive position as we expand nationally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead regulatory and compliance strategy for surplus lines placements
2. Structure filings and negotiate with E&S carriers and brokers
3. Coordinate university-specific implementations with actuarial and legal teams
4. Advise on risk retention structures and fronting partnerships
5. Support policy design, commission structures, and student-focused onboarding

Ideal Candidate:

1. Licensed surplus lines producer or extensive experience in E&S markets
2. Background working with fronting carriers and educational institutions a plus
3. Entrepreneurial mindset, ready to build from the ground up
4. Deep understanding of state-by-state surplus lines filing and DILB requirements
5. Passionate about using insurance for social good

Location: Remote-first with preference for CA, TX, NY, or DE regulatory experience
