Qualifications

• College diploma and five or more years of insurance experience.
• Excess and Surplus Lines experience preferred.
• Surplus Lines Broker licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate placement of insurance policies submitted by retail trading partners with Berkley sister companies.
• Collaborate with Berkley teams to place coverage leveraging underwriting capacity.
• Quote, bind, and issue policies for Berkley Connect and other companies.
• Coordinate with underwriters and account management for servicing and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with Surplus Lines regulations in policy placement.
• Populate Berkley Connect’s Agency Management System with current info.
• Market Berkley Connect’s capabilities to trading partners to drive new business.
• Develop relationships with internal teams and Berkley companies to form partnerships.
