Berkley Aspire is seeking an Account Manager to service and renew policies for Berkley Marketplace trading partners. The role emphasizes client service, accuracy, and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across brokers, underwriters, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance, Excess & Surplus experience, and strong communication skills. Office-based in Scottsdale, AZ or West Chester, OH with occasional travel and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• College degree
• 5+ years of insurance experience
• Excess and Surplus lines experience is required
• Property and Casualty licenses are preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance concepts and market forces
• Strong customer service proficiency
• Well organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong results orientation and teamwork
• Technical proficiency and ability to learn new skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Berkley Marketplace Broker to service policies for Berkley Marketplace trading partners.
• Mentor and assist with training of junior team members.
• Act as single point of contact for agents, underwriters, and clients.
• Service multiple lines of business including Workers Compensation, Inland Marine, Professional Liability and more.
• Manage renewal activity for assigned book of business.
• Enter and maintain policy transactions in Berkley Marketplace’s AMS.
• Manage policy premium billings and accounts receivable.
• Answer client questions promptly via phone and email.
• Interact with brokers and underwriters to process service requests.
• Ensure compliance with Surplus Lines regulations in placement.
