Qualifications

• 1-2 years veterinary clinical experience required.
• Previous veterinary surgery experience required.
• Knowledge of surgical preparation, sterile technique, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery preferred.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work Monday-Friday with no weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in delivering exceptional patient care and client education.
• Assist the medical team to maintain efficient patient flow and maximize productivity.
• Assist with surgeries and medical procedures in accordance with state regulations.
• Communicate with clients regarding pet health concerns, medications, treatment plans, and Thrive Membership options.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Obtain patient histories and update medical charts.
• Utilize safe animal handling and restraint techniques.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sterile treatment, laboratory, and exam room areas.
