BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brentwood, TN is hiring a skilled Veterinary Technician for our Surgery department. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $24.93 to $44.91, with scheduling Tue-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm.

Those with a VTS credentialing path may receive compensation commensurate with experience. You will assist in anesthesia plans, monitor anesthesia, perform IV catheterization, intubation, and surgical support, while maintaining patient records from pre-op through post-op recovery.

Qualifikationen

• Current RVT certification or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and patient care.
• Ability to manage medical records and patient discharge documentation.
• Comfort with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.

Aufgaben

• Assist in procedures with anesthesia plans tailored to each patient.
• Monitor anesthesia, address complications, and intervene as needed.
• Perform IV catheter placement and endotracheal intubation; operate anesthesia equipment.
• Conduct physical exams and monitor vitals; communicate abnormal findings to the surgeon.
• Manage pre-op through recovery, including updates to medical records and invoicing.
