Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician for our Surgery department. Compensations range based on experience, with credentialed veterinarians eligible for higher compensation. This role supports anesthesia planning, monitoring, and post-operative care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

Licensed veterinary technician preferred.
Experience with anesthesia and analgesia protocols.
Ability to monitor anesthesia and intervene as needed.
Comfort with medical math and vitals assessment.

Responsibilities

Assist with anesthesia planning and patient care.
Monitor anesthesia and manage complications.
Place IV catheters and manage endotracheal intubation.
Perform pre-op exams and monitor vital parameters.
Manage patient records, invoicing, and discharges.
Assist during post-op recovery and pain management.
