Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.

• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status; gathers information from patient, family, physician, and other team members.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient, family and team involvement.
• Implement: Directs care through delegation and collaboration; manages time, supplies and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan of care as needed.
• Professionalism: Adheres to legal/ethical standards, documents accurately, and respects licensure requirements.
