Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on the Surgical Unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care and ensure patient-centered outcomes.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and commitment to professional growth. BSN within four years for those with less than 12 months of experience is preferred after hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of practice and BLS certification.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.
• BSN required as of 4/27/2025; BSN will be used for minimum qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status using physical, social, and psychological information.
• Plan individualized care in collaboration with patient, family, and team.
• Implement care with delegation and coordination of the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the care plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, ethical practice, and accurate documentation.
