You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist with selected portions of the care plan, including preparing rooms, taking vital signs, and performing EKGs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of patient care experience (or completion of clinicals), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year patient care experience preferred; can include clinicals or CNA/LNA.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required per department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Take vital signs and collect specimens as assigned.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Perform EKGs and basic nursing procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality; document care activities.
