Job summary

Children’s Colorado is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Level 6 Surgical unit in Aurora, CO. The CA assists patients with daily living activities, monitors vital signs, and supports nursing staff during diagnostic procedures in a 72-bed unit serving birth to early adulthood.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Proof of health assessment and nursing foundation coursework may substitute for CNA/MA/EMT designation.
• CNA/MA/EMT designation and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and comfort.
• Monitors vital signs, performs basic procedures, and prepares/clears rooms and equipment.
• Communicates patient needs and observations to the healthcare team.
