Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse II) for the 72-bed Surgical Unit in Aurora. You will provide family-centered care, collaborate with an inter-professional team, and support pediatric patients from birth to young adulthood.

Night shifts and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates. Minimum BSN with 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years inpatient preferred; licensure and BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• 1 year nursing experience required.
• 2 years inpatient experience preferred.
• Licenses & certifications: BLS/CPR and Colorado RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family-Centered Care and partner with patient/family in care decisions.
• Engage in inter-professional teamwork to ensure quality patient care.
• Apply evidence-based practice and professional standards in daily nursing care.
• Utilize data and informatics to monitor outcomes and improve processes.
• Participate in safety, quality, and leadership activities within the unit.
