Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its Surgical Trauma team in Fort Worth, Texas. The NP will evaluate and manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and provide first assist in trauma and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include supporting the Trauma Service Line, sharing call with other Advanced Practice Providers, and collaborating with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality trauma care.

Qualifications

• Certification as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; Texas license or eligibility.
• Current Texas licensure or eligibility.
• Previous surgical care NP experience required.
• Trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Support the Trauma Service Line at Texas Health Fort Worth.
• Participate in shared call coverage with other Advanced Practice Providers.
• First assist in trauma and surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams.
