Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner with Neurosurgery and/or Neurocritical Care experience for a role in Fort Worth, TX. The NP will see neurosurgical ICU patients, perform consults, and participate in inpatient rounding as part of the Neurocritical Care Team.

The position includes 12-hour shifts (days and nights) and on-call support. The ideal candidate has acute care or adult NP board certification, an active Texas license, and experience in critical care or neurosurgery.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license (NP/PA)
• Acute Care or Adult NP board certification
• Experience in critical care or neurosurgery (ICU/CCU)
• Degree in NP studies from an approved program
• Interest and experience in Neurocritical Care APP role
• PA license required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Consults and follow-ups for Neurosurgery ICU patients plus inpatient rounding.
• Management of Neurosurgery patients as part of the Neurocritical Care Team.
• Support of the neurosurgical on-call team as part of the Neurocritical Care Group.
• Provide expert neurological care and innovative techniques to improve patient outcomes.
