Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Seattle is seeking a Surgical Technology Instructor to join our Seattle campus. You will deliver engaging lectures, guide hands-on surgical skills labs, and support student success from orientation through graduation.

As CST-certified staff with OR experience, you will mentor students, track attendance and grades, coordinate clinical site visits, and collaborate with the Surgical Technology Program team to uphold standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of operating room experience within the last five years.
• Current CST credential from NBSTSA or equivalent.
• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist registration as required by state law.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and lead hands-on surgical labs.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment aligned with OR standards.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and official student records.
• Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and clinical site visits.
