Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program.
• Three (3) years of hands-on occupational experience as a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist.
• Active RDMS credential through ARDMS.
• Active Abdomen (AB) and/or OB/GYN credentials; RVT preferred.
• Active Washington state licensure or equivalent per laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and educational tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver daily lesson plans and classroom lectures aligned with program objectives.
• Lead lab sessions, demonstrate scanning procedures, provide hands-on assistance, enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate guest lectures, clinical site visits, and externship coordination as needed.
• Evaluate student performance, adapt teaching methods to diverse learners, maintain office hours for curriculum progression.
• Monitor attendance and performance to support 80%+ student success across courses.
• Collaborate with Student Services to support at‑risk students and intervention efforts.
• Maintain accurate grades, attendance reports, and final grades at course completion.
