Qualifications

• Credential in Surgical Technology from a national credentialing organization accredited by NBSTSA.
• Minimum of three (3) years operating room experience or teaching in the field within five years prior to hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and implements the curriculum objectives as assigned by the Director of Surgical Technology.
• Prepares, administers, grades, and records exams (written and practical).
• Discusses student concerns related to learning and progress.
• Plans and assigns classroom and clinical activities to meet program objectives.
• Maintains records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
• Provides a professional role model for students and participates in instructional material selection.
