Job summary

Community College of Denver seeks a full-time Surgical Technology faculty member to deliver didactic, lab, and clinical instruction for students, in classrooms, labs, and affiliated clinical sites.

The role emphasizes curriculum development, program assessment, and collaboration with the Program Chair to align with accreditation standards, while mentoring a diverse student population and coordinating with hospitals for clinical placements. Evening and weekend teaching may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NCCA-accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Two years of full-time surgical technologist experience in last five years.
• Ability to teach and develop curricula for surgical technology courses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic, lab, and clinical instruction in accordance with program goals.
• Develop and assess course curricula and program initiatives.
• Coordinate with Program Chair and clinical partners to ensure accreditation standards.
