Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking dynamic Part-Time Adjunct instructors to teach within the Surgical Technology program at our Central Pasco campus. This role allows you to continue working in the field while exploring academia and engaging the next generation of Surgical Technologists.

No prior teaching experience is necessary; training is provided. Adjunct Faculty will report to an Academic Dean and will support student learning through professional practice and collaboration with University

Qualifications

Teaching experience preferred (minimum 3 years in the field of study).
Clinical preceptor experience preferred.
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, and peers.
Associate's degree in Surgical Technology; active CST or CST/CSFA.

Responsibilities

Communicate with students regarding feedback on performance.
Be available for students via phone, email and appointments.
Respond to Dean/University staff regarding performance or issues.
Attend faculty meetings and programmatic events as required.
Maintain professional behavior, language, demeanor and dress.
Complete Rasmussen Educational Units annually or per quarter for each teaching period.
